All I’m doing when I interact with another person is giving myself something to love.
I say or do something so the other person will say or do something I can respond to with love.
It doesn’t matter what they do because I can respond to anything with love.
And the reason I do is because responding with love rewards me. It’s the best possible experience of my life, the height of living, the top of the mountain. There is no greater achievement in all of existence with any greater pay-off than to meet what is, with love.
I can’t think of a single good reason to have any other goal when I’m interacting with a person (or place, thing or situation) than to love them just because I love to love.
