“What is” is everywhere.
“What is” is all powerful
“What is” has no evil component to it (before my opinion).
It just IS.
Some call it “God.” The name “God” is unimportant. Any name will do. Other names for the same thing include:
The Universe
The Way Of It
Tao
Reality
The Complete Laws of Physics (including all those not-yet-discovered)
...They’re all names for the same thing.
When I let go of my story, my opinion, my arbitrary divisions and categories, when I release all of my names for things and my judgments about them, when I’m not remembering what things used to be, or projecting what they might become, when I release what I want things to be, and open myself to what they are, what I’m left with is a simple “is-ness” to everything. And when I see that, I see that there is nothing to gain and nothing to lose and so nothing to fear. “What is” is completely peaceful until I lay my story over it. When I recognize that, a sense of peace and oneness and safety comes over me.
To me, this is what it means to “find God.”
And when I love it, that’s what it means to “love God.”
It has nothing to do with religion or piety or goodness. It has only to do with noticing the incredible, unearnable gift of this, right here and right now.
