When I am sane and I see people yelling at each other, shaming each other, cancelling, picketing, fighting, warring, I see people doing exactly what they think it takes to be good. People engaging in acts to achieve a state of goodness.
But to achieve goodness I have to carve “good” off of the whole. And when I do that, I invent “bad.” Before goodness everything is whole. But when I seek goodness, I falsely split the universe in two, when in reality all is one.
When I am out of alignment with reality, I create my own suffering. And I am grateful for the suffering because it is the divine signal that I am out of alignment with the joyously absurd wholeness of what is.
What if I saw myself as whole, prior to any acts?
