If I think I need to be some way in order to be okay, and the thought of needing to be that way brings me any anxiety at all, then I’m wrong about needing to be that way to be okay. I can question what is required of me and get clear about my place in the world.
If I think I’m somebody and the thought of being that person brings me any anxiety at all, then I’m wrong about being that person. I can question my identity and get clear about who I really am.
