Whatever I put above my mental health and sense of well-being is what will take me down.

Nothing in the world can be more important than my mental health and sense of well-being. Because the world itself is my state of mind, experienced.

If there’s anything I would put above it on the list, that is where I’m vulnerable to unhealthy thought and behavior patterns. That is where I’m not taking care of myself. And because of that, that is where the world will stop me, silence me, lay shame on me and in extreme cases, cause me to bring about my own death (out of either suicide or recklessness or direct harm to myself out of a perceived duty to prioritize this thing).

All of that is fine. But if I don’t want it, I don’t have to have it.

The belief that anything could be more important than my mental health and sense of well-being is a misunderstanding. And I can clear that up
