It’s hard to fathom the notion that there is no good or evil in the benevolent universe, hard to accept that that could be the way of it.
Until I consider how the observations of physics describe the universe (however imperfectly). Which laws are the good laws and which laws are the evil laws of physics? Where opposites arise: is electricity good? Magnetism evil? Matter good? Anti-matter evil? Should I pick a side in these battles of opposites? Support one over the other?
Absurd.
They’re just features of a single system. Each giving rise to the other. Each making the other possible.
There is no problem in a world of imaginary opposites until I arbitrarily prefer one side over the other, name it “good” and the other “evil,” and then believe my names. This is where suffering starts.
Prior to my opinion, what is just IS.
