The biggest confusion of all
is certainty.
The belief that I know anything.
When I believe I know, I set the stage for war with anyone who doesn’t agree (even if the war is only in my thoughts).
And war always hurts me. It is separation from the way of it and thus from my true nature and it always hurts to be separated from my true nature. That’s nature's guidance. It’s signaling me to let go of what I think I know and return to sanity: the recognition of my limited ability to know anything for sure.
In my human experience, I am always missing something.
And the time I’m missing it the most is when I am certain.
