When I left behind the faith tradition into which I was born, I also left behind the absurdity that anyone can know better than me what is right for me to think and believe.
Which in turn shows me that I can’t know better than anyone else what is right for them to think and believe.
All I can do is recognize that everything is a gift, that everyone is my guide and teacher, that through them, I am being shown my state of mind, and to understand the gift of being shown what they are thinking and believing and to meet that with openness and love for the gift it is.
