The world swirls.

The world swirls. All I control is what I offer to the swirl. I do not control where the swirl takes it.

Adding things to the swirl without attempting to control it will make it seem more hospitable because there will be more “me” in the swirl.

But trying to control the swirl, waiting for the swirl to take me in and waiting for permission to add to it make the swirl seem hostile. Because these things aren’t a part of the the way the swirl works: the swirl isn’t controllable. The there is already a constant and eternal invitation to participate. It is waiting for ME, not the other way around. It can’t take me in unless I STEP in - so the swirl has nothing more it can do than it’s already doing.
