If I want something I can ask for it. And because I always get everything I need, I don’t worry about whether or not I’ll get what I want. I can wholeheartedly accept the possibility that I won’t get it. That frees me to ask for anything and to enjoy waiting to see whether or not I’ll get it.
Pursuing wants can be fun and fascinating when my wants are not tied to, or confused with, my needs.
When I think I need my wants, I suffer. When I know my needs are always being met by a benevolent universe, I can enjoy the suspense:
Will I get it?
Yes? Fascinating!
No? Fascinating!
